Description
Rainbow Lorikeets (Trichoglossus haematodus) are very common in bushland areas of Sydney. They create a noisy and brilliant spectacle, especially around dawn and sunset when they are most active. They will often come into your yard to feed. I captured a photo of this one outside my backdoor as it breakfasted on a grevillea bush.
