Description
Evening view across the white sand dunes of the Tularosa basin in New Mexico. The low angled sunlight highlights the small ripples in the desert surface.
Only the hardiest of plants can survive in this environment of constantly shifting dunes. Just the top three feet of this soap tree yucca (yucca elata) protrude through the sand.

These are amazing dunes, Nicholas! a beautiful capture .. the tall yucca shows a complementing strength & hardiness amidst the softness of the sand/sky hues .. ;))
