Artist's Description
Beinn na Caillich is a peak on the Isle of Skye, part of range known as the Red Cuillins. It’s Gaelic name means old woman. Local tradition says the summit contains the grave of a medieval Norweigan princess, Saucy Mary, who lived nearby at Kyleakin.
