The Cuillins (An Cuilthionn) are a range of rocky mountains that dominate the central region of the Isle of Skye. Composed of basalt and gabbro they are normally dark and forbidding. It’s about 9.00 pm in the evening however and the slowly descending sun has found a break in the clouds, illuminating this ridgeline in bold yellows and oranges.
I am a photographer based in Sydney, Australia. I shoot mostly landscapes but include the occasional urban, flora and fauna shots for good measure. My photographs in these collections were taken in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Iceland and USA. Please note that watermarks do not appear on printed images.
