Description
The lighthouse at Point Reyes in northern California is sited on the windiest and foggiest stretch of the Pacific coastline of the United States. The lighthouse has stood on this spot since the 1870s and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The light can be seen (in clear weather) approximately 20 miles out to sea.
