Description
Boothtown Aqueduct in the Sydney suburb of Greystanes was built in the 1880s as part of the Sydney water supply network. The aqueduct takes water from the nearby Prospect Reservoir to the pumping station at Guildford. The aqueduct was in use until 1995 when it was replaced by underground pipework. A cycleway now runs along the top of the aqueduct.
