An Apostlebird (Struthidea cinerea) searching for breakfast on the forest floor.
Apostlebirds are so-named as they are typically found in groups of about 12. Their habitat is the dry woodland of inland eastern Australia. They feature dark grey bodies with a brown-green tail and subsist on a diet of seeds and insects. Alternative names include the Grey Jumper, Lousy Jack or CWA Bird.
I am a photographer based in Sydney, Australia. I shoot mostly landscapes but include the occasional urban, flora and fauna shots for good measure.
