The inrushing tide creates a swirl of colour and light as the water swishes past these rocks. The clarity of the water, strong overhead sunshine and the bright green weed growing on the submerged rocks heighten the effect.
This photograph was taken on Burgess Beach on the north coast of New South Wales.
