Artist's Description
Up close and personal with Mount Cook (Aoraki), the highest mountain in New Zealand.
Mount Cook is located in the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The mountain is approximately 12,200 feet high, although a recent rockslide has substantially reduced its height. The Hooker Glacier, which drains the south western side of the mountain, can be seen to the left of the picture.
