On the water’s edge of the delightfully named Wombat Pool, Tasmania.
Wombat Pool is a small glacially carved lake found high in the Tasmanian Wilderness UNESCO World Heritage area. The lake is surrounded by alpine meadow, eucalypts and tea trees, whose tannin gives the water its rich tea colour.
