Artist's Description
Vera Creek in the Valley of the Waters.
Vera Creek rises at Leura in the Blue Mountains, approximately 90 km west of Sydney. It plunges through the rainforest in a series of canyons, waterfalls and cascades aptly named the Valley of the Waters. It eventually reaches the floor of the Jamieson Valley, almost 2000 feet below the cliff tops where it started.
The Blue Mountains is a world heritage area located just to the west of Sydney.
