The El Alamein Fountain and War Memorial is located in Sydney's Kings Cross district. It was designed in 1964 by Australian architect Bob Woodward. It commemorates the two battles of El Alamein fought in 1942 in North Africa between the Australian and British allies and the Axis armies.
