The Teton Range in western Wyoming forms part of the Rocky Mountain chain that runs from Canada through to the south west United States. The mountains here rise up sharply more than 7000 feet above the surrounding plain creating a most impressive vista. The dramatic scenery has formed the backdrop to numerous Hollywood westerns.
