Sunrise over Forster One Mile Beach.
Forster is on the New South Wales mid-north coast and is a popular holiday and retirement location. The surrounding region is a mix of national parks, farms (mostly dairy) and smaller holiday towns. Estuarine lakes support oyster farmers and a wide variety of birdlife.
