Description

Gum swamp is a wetlands area on the Lachlan River, not far from the town of Forbes in central New South Wales. It’s late in the day and the sky is reflected strongly in the smooth water.

Several species of ducks, herons, ibis and pigeons call this area home. Tree species include river red gums, yellow box and grey box.
