Artist's Description
Eilean Donan Castle at night.
Eilean Donan is sited at the junction of Loch Duich, Loch Alsh and Loch Long in the highlands of Scotland. The village of Dornie is nearby. A castle has stood on the island since the 13th century although the current one is a restoration from the early 20th century. It is perhaps the most recognisable image of Scotland, seen in countless television programs and films.
