Description
Oak Tree House in Mesa Verde National Park.
Mesa Verde National Park, located in south western Colorado, preserves the most extensive array of pre-Columbian architecture in North America. Most famed for its cliff dwellings from the 12th century, like the one seen here, the site actually contains remnants of human habitation dating back thousands of years. The site is listed on the UNESCO world heritage register.
