Artist's Description
The Australian War Memorial is located in Canberra at the head of Anzac Parade opposite the lake from the Parliament House. The War Memorial comprises The Hall of Memory, a War Museum, and the War Records Centre. The Memorial was completed in 1941.
Each evening at closing time the life story is read out of one of the over 100,000 Australian military personnel who have died in war. It will take until 2300 to reach the end of the honour roll for the first time.
