Sandstone cliffs on the western face of Zion Canyon, Utah, named for the biblical patriarchs Abraham and Isaac.
The steepness of the canyon means the top faces can be bathed in morning sunlight whilst the slopes below remain shrouded in shadow. These cliffs attract rock climbers from around the world.
