Description
Red spires in the Devil's Garden region of Arches National Park, Utah.
Spires and hoodoos are formed when a resistant cap rock overlays softer layers which are preferentially eroded by wind, sand and water. The desert plants and trees form a garden more beautiful and intricate than any man-made creation.
