Description
An Australian Raven (Corvus coronoides) perched in the bushes at the beach.
Australian ravens are about 50 cm long with a wing span of up to 1 metre. They feature all black feathers, black beak and white eyes and are frequently mistaken for crows. They range across southern, central and eastern Australia.
Something about this image makes me think of Edgar Allan Poe. I wonder what that could be?
