Description
The Emu (Dromaius novaehollandiae) is Australia’s largest bird and is featured on the Australian Coat of Arms.
Emu are found all across Australia. They can reach up to 190 cm tall and weigh between 30-35 kg. They have a pale blue skin and grey-brown shaggy feathers. Emus cannot fly but can run at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
