A Grey Butcherbird (Cracticus torquatus) comes down to the forest floor for a drink from a puddle.
Butcherbirds are native to southern Australia where they can be found across a wide range of habitats from woodland to scrub and even in urban areas.
They feature a black cap, grey-white breast, and hooked beak coloured blue and black. They hunt insects, lizards and small birds.
