Description
The Devil’s Pulpit in Finnich Glen, Stirlingshire Scotland. The canyon has been carved through the red sandstone by the fast flowing Carnock Burn.
The location has a sinister reputation. One story claims the devil stood on this stone platform and preached to his followers. Some associate the site with witches, whilst others report that druids used to assemble here to share their dark secrets, safe from prying ears and eyes.
